Celebrity Cruises has announced that the fifth ship in its award-winning Edge Series will be named Celebrity Xcel.

The new cruise ship will boast modern two-storey villas with private plunge pools and infinite verandas, a Daniel Boulud fine-dining restaurant at sea, an expanded Rooftop Garden, a multi-level, multi-terraced Sunset Bar; The Retreat, an exclusive resort-within-a-resort with a two-story sundeck and the return of the Magic Carpet, a floating bar soaring above the sea, offering uninterrupted vistas.
