Cruising with Children
Explora Journeys welcomes guests of all ages. Infants between the ages of 6 and 23 months sail free of charge, while children aged 2 to 17 are eligible for additional savings. Onboard families will love the option of booking connecting suites for additional space and privacy, and across both Explora I and Explora II there are 82 multi-generational-friendly connected suites that can accommodate a variety of group sizes.
The younger guests will love the thoughtful touches like smaller bathrobes, slippers, and hangers, and you can even request toys to be available in-suite for infants. Children aged 6 to 17 will love the Nautilus Club, a dedicated space where children are entertained and engaged with age-appropriate activities such as foosball, video games, board games, and even a digital library. Children aged 3 to 5 years are also welcome at specific times when accompanied by a parent or guardian. Once in port, families will find a host of family-friendly Destination Experiences that will appeal to the whole family, from farm visits to meeting a real-life astronaut.

Accessibility
Accessible suites are available onboard Explora Journeys across a number of accommodation categories. Guests needing to travel with medical equipment such as wheelchairs, motorised scooters, or oxygen therapy requested to notify their Cruise Travel Advisor at time of booking so that individual requests and needs can be accommodated on board.
For on shore excursions, certain Destination Experiences are wheelchair-accessible, and these are highlighted with an icon for easy identification. Availability of experiences may vary based on guest requirements, as wheelchair-accessible transport needs to be arranged in advance. Again, guests are encouraged to inform their Cruise Travel Advisor or an Explora Journeys Ambassador of their needs at the time of booking.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are dining tables and seating times assigned?
At Sakura, Marble & Co. Grill, and Anthology restaurants, dining tables and seating times are assigned. However, it is open seating at Med Yacht Club and Fil Rouge, although reservations can still be made. Emporium Marketplace offers open seating with no reservations required.
Is there WiFi onboard?
Guests can enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi in both their suite and the public areas of the ship, for unlimited web browsing, emails, social media, messengers, and voice and video calls. However, the Wi-Fi connection onboard is dependent on satellite positioning, so it may occasionally be unstable or disconnected due to weather conditions, navigation areas, or other technical limitations.
Will there be any formal evenings during my journey?
No, Explora Journeys does not have any formal nights, so formal dress is not needed. There is no dress code onboard, however ‘elegant resort casual style’ is recommended.
